Behind the Author

Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a brain. This brain enjoyed the color purple, cuddling animals, soft blankets, nap time, and drinking coffee. The brain lived in a cave, on an island, and spent all of its time reading books and avoiding people.

Then one day, the brain decided it wanted to write a book.

Lightning struck and a million ideas came to life inside of the brain. So many ideas, so many voices, the brain actually exploded, split in two pieces, never to be meshed into one again.

Several lifetimes later, Helena Novak and Lissa Lynn Thomas are the owners of each half of the broken brain. Together, they are A.L. Shea.
